ZenSpace is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has created an account, we will delete their information immediately.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our mental wellness features.
A. Account Information

• Email Address: For account creation and communication.

• Password: Handled securely via our third-party authentication provider.

• Profile Details: Username/nickname and your country of residence.

• Trusted Contact: An email address for a trusted individual (provided by you).

B. Wellness & Application Data

• Self-Reported Data: Mood entries, sleep quality, and sleep timelines.

• AI Personalization: Summarized "Chat Knowledge" derived from your conversations to improve AI responsiveness.

• Technical Data: App version and general preferences.

C. Transient Data (Processed but Not Stored)
To provide AI-driven insights, ZenSpace processes the following data via our servers temporarily. We do not store the following:

• Voice Input: Analyzed for sentiment/transcription and deleted immediately.

• Facial Input: Analyzed for emotion probability and deleted immediately.

• Full Conversations: We do not store raw chat logs; we only retain summarized insights (Chat Knowledge).

D. Data We Do Not Collect​

• IP addresses.

• Usage analytics or tracking cookies.

3. How Your Data Is Used
We use your information strictly for the following purposes:

• Personalization: To tailor AI interactions and wellness insights to your specific needs.

• Progress Tracking: To generate your mood and sleep timelines.

• Safety: We may contact your "Trusted User Email" in specific contexts defined by the app's wellness features.

• Maintenance: To manage your account and improve app functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or wellness data to third parties.
4. Storage & Security
We utilize industry-standard services to ensure your data is secure:

• Firebase Authentication: Secures your login credentials.

• Cloud Firestore: Stores your encrypted profile and wellness summaries.

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

5. Third-Party Services
ZenSpace currently relies on Google (Firebase) for backend infrastructure. These services have their own privacy protocols regarding data handling. No other third parties have access to your information.
6. User Rights & Data Retention

• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

• Data Erasure: Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data from our active databases.

• Data Export: Please note that automated data export (portability) is not supported at this time.

ZenSpace is a wellness tool and is not a medical platform. The AI insights, mood tracking, and sleep data provided are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
